Everyone has a crazy roommate during their college experience. When I first got back from my mission I roomed with three brothers from Texas, who were both crazy and hilarious. As all college students, especially a return missionary, dating and relationships was the all important topic in the house. The second oldest brother had a crazy and a very interesting dating life.

I really don’t know how the guy did it. I once saw him call eight girls in one night to find someone to go out with him the next day. Okay, he was asking the girl out for the next day and sometimes he asked for the wrong roommate, but by the time he was done, I felt really bad for him. I mean rejected eight times in one night? Ouch.

I ran in to this guy the other day on campus, and was obligated to provide him with a little scare. He was walking toward me, but was looking away as he finished a conversation with someone else at a distance. I stood right in his path and waited for him to run into me. We collided, it was good surprise. We chatted about life and he quickly told me about his plans for the weekend.

My friend told me he had a date on Saturday night. Apparently, one of his friends had set him up with this girl. After calling her, he was pretty stoked about going out with her and called his brother. In this brotherly discussion, the two made a startling revelation. This girl was their second cousin! So my poor little friend had been set up with his second cousin. Could you imagine going out with your second cousin? If you kiss them, is that like kissing your sister?

The poor guy has such a rough time dating. He finally finds a fine honey to go out with only find out she is his second cousin. That is what I call unlucky!
